Coffee Morning – 3rd March 2017

The Sheltered Employment Scheme invited everyone to a coffee morning on Friday the 3rd March, this was held at the Golden Hope in Sittingbourne at 11am.

The social meeting was well attended by the employees of the S.E.S and by some service users who are not employed by the scheme. Additionally a new service user from Whiteleaf Cottage attended.

The meeting went well and it started with everyone introducing themselves and stating where they lived and what job they did.

We spoke about the aims of the S.E.S and discussed where they might like to go for the next social event, we had a show of hands and a cinema trip came out the most popular.

We discussed the upcoming Furniture Restoration project, this will be starting on the 10th March at the Resource Centre at 11am . There are lots of volunteers to ensure the project gets off the ground.

We have two items to fix and then to restore, the furniture will be made available for sale to anyone who may like to purchase an item of furniture.

I will keep you updated on the restoration project in the near future.
